Cesar Pelli Tower<\/h2>\n

Also known as the Spire, CDC played a role in the construction of the Cesar Pelli Tower in Porta Nuova Garibaldi, Milan, designed by architect Cesar Pelli for the Unicredit building. From March 2009 to October 2011, in addition to design and construction drawings, CDC was involved in production in collaboration with Famar Srl, as well as on-site assembly, including the use of a Puma helicopter in collaboration with Seval Srl. <\/p>\n

The spire, starting from the roof at a height of 145 meters from the ground, rises another 85 meters, reaching a total height of 230 meters. The structure is clad in panels made from micro-perforated stainless steel sheets and is fully illuminated and heated to prevent the formation of ice, which could become hazardous if detached and compromise the tower’s stability and safety. <\/p>\n

It is currently the tallest building in Italy.<\/p>\n
